Carolina Noguni, RMT
Carolina’s education and experiences from South America, Japan, and Canada have provided her with a unique perspective on patient care. Carolina started training as a student of Technician in Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy in Lima-Peru in the early 2000s. She graduated from the program of Registered Massage Therapy at Utopia Academy in Vancouver B.C in 2011.
Carolina offers a variety of massage techniques and areas of specialty, including scar tissue, myofascial and trigger point release, joint mobilizations, ROM, pregnancy massage, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) recovery and work/sports-related injuries.
Carolina’s interest in and dedication to this career started very young, having family members affected with poliomyelitis, MS, arthritis, post motor vehicle accidents, stress and anxiety.
She helped relieve many of their symptoms while combining massage therapies, changes in daily life activities, postural education and hydrotherapy. This motivated her to keep the pursuit of health improvement through education and compassion in a drug free environment.
Emily,Yunejung, Im, B.Sc. R.Ac.
Prior to practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in Korea. Due to her interest in how the environment affects the human body and her belief in a holistic way of maintaining health and wellness, she pursued her studies in TCM. Emily has graduated from both the acupuncture and herbology program at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCM). She obtained her acupuncture license (R.Ac) in 2019. Emily has been practicing acupuncture at the ITCTM’s school clinic for 4 years. In addition, she has continued to develop her skills working in a very busy clinic in Vancouver.
Emily is passionate about helping people and providing exceptional care. In her life-long pursuit to expand her knowledge, she is also committed in sharing her knowledge with her patients to better aid them in achieving optimal health and wellness. She believes in the importance of developing individual treatment plans that encourage patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.
